Martial Blade Matches
This is the Praxeum’s most straight-forward match style, with a win determined by the first strike in each round. Intermediate students compete in a best-of-three, while advanced students are best-of-five. Matches are often highly technical, as the judges must ensure strikes are within form and hit legal strike zones.
Variations
Team Martial: Two duelists must defeat their counterparts in group combat. The last duelist standing wins for their team!
Mini Tournament: This single-elimination tournament is known as a “Bowl” and can have 4, 6, or 8 duelists participate. The winner gets year-long bragging rights as the “Champion” of the hosting event.
